Job Overview

As an energetic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for
qualifying and nurturing a pipeline of opportunities sourced from a strong mix of
inbound and outbound leads generated by our Marketing team whilst building a
pipeline of your own through attending networking events and through your own
initiative. You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle, from first contact through to
close, engaging with key decision-makers including C-level and director level, whilst
navigating complex customer requirements

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Sales team and help drive our next phase of expansion.

 

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify and manage inbound and outbound leads, and identify high-potential business opportunities

  • Engage with prospects through phone calls, virtual meetings, face-to-face interactions, and product demonstrations

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to negotiation and deal closure

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation

  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to tailor proposals and close complex deals

  • Accurately maintain records and track progress in the CRM (Zoho experience preferred)

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

  • Contribute feedback and market insights to help shape product and marketing strategies

     

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in qualifying and managing sales leads

  • Confident communicator with strong experience in phone sales, virtual/face-to-face meetings, and presentations

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, managing the full sales cycle

  • Proficiency in using CRMs (Zoho preferred) and other data capture tools

  • Ability to handle multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining focus and professionalism

     

    Preferred Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in sales within the telecoms and data connectivity market

  • Strong experience in the Irish communications market

  • Experience selling to C-level executives, directors and business owners

  • Familiarity with tender processes and navigating complex enterprise-level deals
