By taking part in a hands-on learning experience, an apprentice can become immersed in real-world work environments, applying their skills and knowledge in practice.
Apprentices are also exposed to the accumulated knowledge of their colleagues, allowing them to absorb many years of experience and industry knowledge. Colleagues in each department act as mentors to apprentices, allowing them to garner insights and perspectives that seasoned experts can bring. Furthermore, mentors offer the support, advice and feedback necessary for apprentices as they negotiate the early steps of their career path, allowing the apprentice to gain knowledge and confidence in the workplace.
But that’s not all, as a company we also learn from our apprentices. We believe that each new colleague has the opportunity to help shape the way we do things, and we always encourage a fresh perspective.
