On this International Women's Day, IP Telecom is supporting the Irish Homeless Street League (IHSL). Under the theme of 'Inspire Inclusion', IP Telecom organised a fundraising event to spotlight the transformative power of sports, particularly in empowering women.
IHSL CEO Christopher O'Brien and women's player Vanessa Lynch brought to the forefront the positive impact of sports in combating social alienation and empowering individuals, especially women, who have faced adversity.
The IHSL's mission to inspire and develop individuals affected by homelessness, substance abuse, and social exclusion resonates deeply with IP Telecom's commitment to community initiatives and gender equality. From one league in Pearse St Dublin to nationwide expansion, IHSL's growth reflects a broader recognition of sports as a tool for empowerment and societal integration.
This support isn't an isolated gesture for IP Telecom but is part of a broader commitment to women's initiatives. The company's significant sponsorship of Peamount United's Women Senior Team and CEO Shena Brien's dedication to a balanced, inclusive workforce underscore IP Telecom's commitment to nurturing the growth of women's football and supporting women's empowerment across sectors.
